Terms of service

These terms govern your use of cleancutsafety.com and any purchase made through it. The site is operated by CleanCut Safety Inc., a corporation registered in Prince Edward Island, Canada. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the goods. If we cannot fulfil an order — because an item is unavailable, a price was listed in error, or we cannot verify the payment — we will tell you and refund you in full.

We may limit or refuse quantities, and may decline orders that appear to be for resale.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. Prices may change, but not after you have placed an order.

We make every effort to describe products accurately. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you rather than honour the error.

Custom-cut products

Custom sizes are made to the dimensions you supply. Please check them before ordering: we cut to what you tell us. Custom items are not returnable for change of mind, though they are fully covered if we cut them incorrectly or they arrive damaged. See our refund policy.

Using the product safely

CleanCut sheets are cutting surfaces intended for food preparation. They are not heatproof and must not be used as trivets, placed on hot surfaces, or used in an oven or microwave. Follow the care instructions on the product page.

Good food-handling practice remains your responsibility. Our product is designed to clean up more completely than a grooved board; it does not eliminate the need to wash surfaces between raw protein and ready-to-eat food, or to wash your hands.

Claims about the product

We only publish claims we can substantiate, and we will send you the supporting material if you ask. Where testing has been carried out, we describe its scope accurately, including what it did not cover.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, images, design and the CleanCut name and marks — belongs to CleanCut Safety Inc. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits your rights under applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Prince Edward Island and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes are subject to the courts of Prince Edward Island.
